I highly oppose HJR0493 and ask that you do too! Tennessee's parents/guardians, educators, and school board members need the general assembly to only pass laws that strengthen public schools in Tennessee (not set out to destroy them). Thank you!

Parents are also responsible for their children's education and should have a voice. We do not want Vouchers to take money away from our public schools and this is still what Rep Dunn is trying to get. Please vote "NO"!

The laws are there to protect those with disabilities. In the long run, this alternative will be far more expensive. In both the short and long runs, it is deceitful, short-sighted, and takes advantage of those who are vulnerable ; and, most importantly, will hurt this group of people. It is far greater to stand alone and do the right thing, then to join the crowd and avoid truly looking at solutions. Look at what has gone wrong, research successful endeavors, implement change to fix the system and follow IDEA law.

I am not in favor of this Bill and feel it would be detrimental to Public Education in TN.
