Find another route out of Winnebago County. It was bypassed in Boone County and it can bypass Winnebago County too.

This is quiet farmland and those of us who live here value that. Concerns about pollution of our wells. Private company should not have eminent domain rights.

A friend of mine works for a railroad and he said multiple existing lines could be used and it's just a bunch of political BS..

Isn't declaring eminent domain illegal for a private company?

Winnebago Village resident. It shouldn't be here, disturb some other land near by. We are a quiet town.

Use the current railroads, upgrade them if need be, but do not put a new one through.

There's no real need for this railroad. I am concerned about preserving the land, safety issues, and traffic congestion. No GLB!
