There's got to be a better place to put this. Snaking them through our rural subdivisions is not the answer. And I will do everything in my power to stop it!!!

There is no need for this railroad. Anywhere! So it takes 30 hours to get from Los Angeles to Chicago. It doesn't hurt anyone to wait 2 days to receive something. If urgent, you would overnight it by air. This train will run in our backyards, does everyone remember the derailment on Mulford, the lives lost and the contaminated wells. Our water supply for this country is a concern, along with farmland. Water is precious and we can't afford to chance a toxic spill. Moving toxic cargo at 70 miles per hour is ridiculous. Stop this railroad!

What does Winnebago County have to gain from this ?

This project impacts many community members very negatively. Including a number of farm families whose lands have been in the family for literally a century. To take away their land to do something that only hurts them is wrong.
