I don't want to ruin our farm lands. They will be closing roads making it harder for the fire department and local farmers. Not to mention the fact that if there's a spill it will destroy the water supply.

This will hurt all the farmers along with a potential environmental disaster. This will cause traffic delays unless bridges are built taking away more land. The noise alone will affect all the animals along with ruin the quality of life of people. Suggestion improve all existing rail corridors.

We moved here to Winnebago to get away from the busy, congested suburb life consisting of backed up intersections and railroads; not to bring it out here toward us. Plus I wouldn't want this running through my farm land.

They didn't stop Canadian National Rail and they only wanted their toxic freight to come around about back to Canada, and this has happened. How much more do the suburbs of Chicago have to give before the rails choose another way to ship their poison>

This would directly affect my family and their dream home. There are current tracks that should be used

Please stop this. Why would a company lay new tracks in today's world? We're surrounded by existing train tracks in need of care and maintenance. Why won't Great Lakes Basin negotiate contracts with existing rail companies?

Who would want this kind of intrusion in their back yard. The noise, the traffic(long trains nearly continuously) The whats next with there secrect clause to lease out some of the right of ways near the tracks for other uses. The investors behind it only have there profits concerns and care nothing of all the property owners concerns or whats best for the landscapes.

We don't need this. It will ruin our beautiful farmlands and the number of trains running through our back yards will certainly disturb the peace we value in my area. Char Thorn

This whole debacle takes so much away from the communities in its path. A one time payment to a hard working farmer for land takes away his/her future income forever.

No! This idea will certainly not profit the communities it will split up. NO!
