Winnebago County elected once again are plotting against their citizens in order to benefit their buddies. We have north south rail here. We have an abandoned rail yard off south Main St. let them use that! Why wreck farms and other communities?

corporate companies that are in business for the profit, should never be allowed to take private land. Pay the owners price or stay away!

Live in Ogle. New route puts it about 150 yards from my 14 year old house in the country.

This railroad is not needed in Winnebago, Ogle, or Lee county or any county! I am against this and it taking away farmland. These are great communities and small towns. Please don't ruin that!

The land that generations have been farming on needs to be preserved and not destroyed. In decades to come, this land will be the land that provides for many mouths to be fed.
