How can we have a 4 storey buidling in a zone 3 area? Also with small and narrow streets in these local area, parking and garbage collecting are serious problems for residents. Please reconsider this development

I am living on this street, I love this community.
There are already too many boarding house in this street. Those builder are too noisy in the early morning and then we couldn't sleep well.
To be honest, I was thinking that they will finish their job in a couple of months, so maybe I should just be patient. The fact is, I was wrong, If now they tell me they will start their next project, my answer is NO. No way! Enough is Enough!
Absolutely, everyone could see there are more and more cars parked beside the road, this road is Two-Lane only, and now it's almost totally blocked. Gover Street is a small and narrow street, it couldn't contain too much population. I am afraid nobody on this street could drive in their own garage in the future if more boarding house appear.
I wish the investor who applied for this DA could consider about the future, think for himself. Nobody want to live in such kind of street. And the investor will never make any profit if his property could not be sold. If you stop now, congrats, because even a rabbit knows they should never pull out all of the carrots from same field in once. But if you keep building in same area and then, I can introduce a Lawyer to you, he is a specialist of bankruptcy.
Be wise.

This development should not be allowed in this family based residential area. My own personal experience shows many boarding house residents suffer from drug and alcohol problems. That's why they are in boarding houses. They are referred to these places and have their rent paid for up to 2 months while they are in rehab.
They have become defacto hospitals for drug and alcohol rehabilitation because the public health system cant cope. The residents of Peakhurst should not suffer because of government failure. The anti social behaviour as a result will be too much for our community. When I first moved here 10 years ago there was a lot of drug dealing in the park, partying late and alcohol abuse partley because of the large public housing concentration. People were too scared to use the park at night. That has all changed now with the high concentration of home/unit ownership. I don't want to see the suburb return to the bad old days where people were scared to go out at night. I am against the proposal DA2017/0204

I am sure the MPs or any government official wouldn't want this project next to them. But it is perfectly fine to put it up in the people you are suppose to help's home. We have enough social issues as it is in this side of Peakhurst.
Absolutely woeful, disrespectful and I feel completely discriminated against because of our social standing in the community.
I will never support any major political party as they never have the interest of the common resident in their mind. Only to further their political career.

This is absurd and as a resident on Gover st, completely and utterly reject this boarding house.
I am sure MP David Coleman or any government official from the area wouldn't want this development next door to his or their home.
I am outraged and will protest against whole hardheartedly. .

This is totally unrelated - but I checked the page after receiving a notice in my mailbox. Had to sign up to post a comment now it's virtually impossible to remove my profile (and personal details) - has anyone else had the same experience? Seems really fishy that its so easy to signup but now that I'm signed up, I can't remove my details! Received an email from support desk which makes NO SENSE at all. Points me to a FAQ page - no resolution -

Anony Mous, I assure you we're deeply concerned that this social engineering project in our area will do the following:
- bring the lowest of scum to the area (junkies, former prisoners, pedophiles, etc)
-constantly fear for your kids' safety and property.
-devalue our property.
We don't want any of the above in our area, and that is where my sense of community and empathy is.
We all worked hard to buy our properties in the area. Had we known they're going to build some social experiment in the area, we would look to buy elsewhere,
If the local council is going ahead with this stupidity (which they wouldn't have in their own street), this will have political implication.
We don't want this!

Wow... no one is concerned re who started this petition? The only individuals who this will impact are the investors who have systematically bought every home (both private and public housing) for the purposes of building apartment blocks and raking in tons of dollars. There's no concern for the community - only for their investment. And where do these "transient" people then live? Where is your sense of community spirit and empathy for your fellow man? Would you prefer people roam around, homeless and desperate? Not impressed at all with this ridiculous petition!
