I live nearby and there are more private jets by the day. They seem to start earlier (before 7am) and end later (after 11pm) and wake us up regularly.

An airport near the center of our city presents a safety concern for residents, schools and churches. Lowers property values, creates noise pollution and is bad for the Edwards Aquifer. Move it.

This airport is already a form of Welfare for people who are wealthy enough to afford airplanes. Their rent, feesan fuel purchases don't even come close to paying the operations cost. What is it's true purpose and value to ALL of the citizens of Georgetown? Extending the runway length and adding to the weight capacity only means one thing...larger aircrat, which naturally means a lot more jet aircraft of varying sizes. This will significantly increase the noise impact on every neighborhood near the airport. What started out a a convenient place for flying enthusiasts will turn into something quite busier and much louder. The leadership of this town does NOT listen to it's citizens. This airport needs to be closed down.

Stop the expansion. Move the airport East of town near the 130 toll road where there is ample open land available. This would allow the airport to acquire adequate land for a long lasting growth plan. Expanding it where it is, is just a temporary band-aid at best. It is not a long term solution considering our projected growth.

The airport is too close to several neighborhoods for expansion as well as an elementary school where children are out walking and playing. There have been plane crashes in neighborhoods in the past. Move the airport to a safer, less populated area!

DO NOT need an expansion. There are too many flights and they are letting them fly in and out after 10. Can you imagine this? What a shame now. All you hear are planes now and into the late hours of midnight.
