Stop this sexual degradation of our children

As a Lesbian I have always thought drag was offensively misogynistic. I have to wonder why and how adult entertainment is being passed off as appropriate for children under the heading of 'inclusivity'. There is nothing inclusive about a sexualised parody of women .

Please let our children grow up unhindered by sights and thoughts beyond their understanding. I would they would grow up in innocence and in their own time.

This type of blatant sexual grooming of our children must NOT be allowed to continue.

Please do not go ahead with this. Children should be protected from this sexualised behaviour, they are precious and should not be used as ideological tools.

Stop propagandising child visitors - and their parents - much of this queering ideology involves elements of sexualised grooming of children. It’s unacceptable for the Tate to be involved in this

Nothing is being promoted here. You are too obsessed.

You don't have to take them there. And believe me. Children who go there will become much better humans. For many many reasons you can't understand

I think you missed something...Pretty loud and clear. 23 January 2023 Dear Baroness Nicholson, Thank you for your letter of 20th January. I am, of course, aware of the discussion you reference. The points you have made have been addressed to Tate in other correspondence, the response to which I share with you here. Tate's programme is broad and diverse. Events are not programmed either to promote, endorse or reconcile differing points of view on wider political issues. Rather, they aim to be inclusive and celebrate the diversity of Tate's visitors and the community. Tate is open to all. By virtue of this, there will be some programmes which appeal to some visitors and some that do not. Visitors are free to choose with which aspect of our programme they engage. We appreciate some might not be interested in or agree with the forthcoming event: 'Drag Queen Story Hour'. However, we believe firmty that others should be given the chance to make that decision for themselves. Yours sincerely, Roland Rudd Chair of Trustees Tate Galleries
