Given you have never given a dominant platform to women Artist/performer at Tate it’s misogynist to constantly prioritise male art as if it’s the norm. For decades RFs have asked for better/greater representation of our art works…. And every time we get dismissed…. The % of female art at Tate is lower generationally and yet our tax contributions keep rising. In case you are not aware in U.K./globally constitute 51% of the population. That fact is not representative in your galleries…. Time to prioritise women.. stop massaging the ego of the male dominated art/entertainment exhibits.

I have never understood the argument that drag for children somehow encourages diversity. Young children seeing a man dressed as a caricature of a woman, including fake breasts, simply assume it's a woman. How sexist and regressive.

Drag is adult entertainment. It has no place being performed in front of children. It offers up often cruel, mocking stereotypes of women and is in this case performed by a man who shows scant regard for child safeguarding.

Children should not be exposed to this ideology. Better safeguarding is essential.

Drag has no place in front of children and is only adult entertainment. The conflation of drag and pants dame has to stop. Drag queens often perform very adult shows with risqué NSFW jokes, and songs aimed to entertain adults. The dances include twerking and erotic stripper dance routines not suitable for children. Drag queens have been shown on film teaching children how to twerk and encourage them to dance in a sexual manner. The outfits are exaggerated feminine bodies with costumes that are often sexualised in nature. Many drag queens shows have children putting money into their costumes like stripper clubs which is highly inappropriate. Ask yourself: would you allow half naked male strippers to twerk and gyrate in front of a child as they put money in the mans thong? If not; then why would you allow men in drag do it just because they wear exaggerated stereotype caricatures of females with makeup, wigs and costumes? Drag queens should not be involved in child entertainment.

This needs shut down stopped immediately.

A gallery's focus should be on art not a homophobic and misogynistic ideology completely unsuitable for children.

Leave the kids alone. Teach em art, not ideology.
