As a member and supporter for many years I am really disappointed that you think an event like this is suitable for children.

This person is a safeguarding risk, should not be anywhere near children.

This is neither art or children's entertainment.

Drag is adult entertainment - sexualised and denigrating women. Children should not be exposed to this. Nor should they be indoctrinated into finding such misogynist behaviour acceptable. How demeaning for little girls to be confronted with these debased images of women. And how brutalising for boys, encouraging them to mock and despise women.

Drag is an inherently degrading caricaturing of women by men. At best it can be described as adult entertainment and as such has no place in a forum designed to educate and entertain children.

These storytimes promote an ideology that has many complex issues beyond the comprehension of children. It has also been exploited by opportunistic predators

This is not pantomime. This is not dressing up. I consider it inappropriate sexualising of children. Therefore I see it as grooming. Children will become confused.
