Women officers provide many things that men officers struggle to, such as, providing support for victims specifically women and adolescents, ability to de-escalate situations with strong communication skills and provide a unique perspective. With women seen as more compassionate and attentive, and their avoidance of physical force, the public view of the police force could shift positively.
I have spent this week drafting formal inquiries to the regional police commissioner regarding current hiring quotas for female officers. I am awaiting a response to schedule a consultation with their internal recruitment committee.

Its about time. Women bring a totally different vibe to the force and we need more of that level headedness in these crazy times.
