STOP FULLERTOWN FLATS

This project is out of scale for the neighborhood. Furthermore, if the 2040 plan were in place now, it would STILL need variances. You need to say no to the developers request to radically alter the character of the neighborhood. There are no practical difficulties that would indicate these variances are necessary. Just say no.

The area is already a traffic nightmare. 23 units and only 10 parking spots. Really? Think about the businesses this is going to kill.

Building apartments without sufficient parking ruins neighborhoods. We need more green space to combat global warming, not less. Sticking apartments in single family dominant neighborhoods will wreck the beauty and livability of Minneapolis. This lack of foresight must stop now.

City of Minneapolis please stop this madness of caring more about developers than you do your residents. This project makes no sense for this area in any capacity.

This proposal benefits developer and is negatively affecting quality of life for current residents

There is already more traffic in our neighborhood than residential streets should have to put up with. Tangletown is a area of narrow, curvy streets. More traffic/cars will choke the area for the current homeowners.

These developments should be restricted to business nodes along major thoroughfares; not within existing residential neighborhoods.

I love living on a block with apartments, condos, duplexes, single family homes, and small businesses. I would like any new additions to adhere to zoning laws- this one does not, which is the source of my opposition. Thank you.

The project is out of scope for this neighborhood and needs too many variances to proceed. I'm not in favor of this building being built.

I live 1-1/2 blocks from this proposed development. It will negatively affect our neighborhood. The proposed parking variance will produce 13 more vehicles on a street where parking is already stretched. The added congestion be dangerous to children going to nearby Fuller Park. And it seems the developer is trying to rush approval prior to a vote on the 2040 density plan of which it is not compliant.

The building is out of scale for the neighborhood and there are not enough parking spaces. Bus service is infrequent since the Grand Ave bus was discontinued.

I don't see any benefits of this project for the existing community. The project will create over density and increase health and safety risks, similar to the 2040 plan. Its a case of Greed before need.
