Too tall and too dense!

This proposed development is not safe & is not in character with the neighborhood.

While I welcome new apartments to the neighborhood, this development shows no signs of considerate study of the neighborhood or the impact these requests would have upon the people who live nearby. Also: not included in the 2040 so no affordable housing? Come ON.

I too, oppose this project for all the reasons outlined by the Stop Fullertown Flats group

I oppose this project. Four stories is too high and there is not enough parking. I am all for mass transit but many people can't take it because it doesn't go where they need it go for their job, or it takes hours and multiple transfers. It just isn't realistic to think that people won't need a car for work. How many will be affordable? What environmental assessment is being done as this will mean less green space and will create more runoff and issues water quality for our lakes. What about the architecture - does it fit in with the surrounding architecture. So often these big developments are not attractive and look out of place. I could go on and on.

I think this variance should be denied based on the modest size of surrounding homes and businesses...and 10 off street parking spaces for a 23 unit building is not adequate to prevent parking, traffic and safety problems. And...where's the affordable housing option within this project?

10 parking spots for a 23 unit structure?! This is a developer-driven cost-saving scheme with no consideration for the neighborhood that will have to accommodate on-street parking for potentially 46 vehicles (@2 tenants per unit) - this assumes a lot that all these tenants will have 10 vehicles among them. I believe in capitalism, but this is only to line the pockets of developers (and elected pols who seek campaign funds???). The City Council is officially Out.Of.Control.

This kind of oversized and under parked development is exactly what we do not need in the quiet neighborhoods of our city. This is not Chicago, and we don’t want it to be.

This area is already congested - adding 23 dwellings here is not appropriate for the area.

Way too big for this quiet neighborhood. Cars will need to park on street creating additional congestion and noise. Do not allow to be built.

Please do multi housing with reputable and proven managers as well as with regard to parking for residents.

My daughter attends school in the neighborhood, and we are going to be residents of the neighborhood in the Spring (we are currently looking for a home). We love Tangletown the way it is!

Are the schools, places of worship, current residents or small independent businesses impacted by this large change even being considered? Mobility and parking become very real issues but only after they’ve been ignored.

Do not approve this project. The size is wrong for the neighborhood. The lack of off-street parking is a serious issue for the apartment dwellers, for the single-family home owners, and for the business in the area, too.

The proposed building is out of scale for the neighborhood. Failure to provide at least one parking spot per apartment will create parking nightmares for neighbors, for the small businesses on the street, and for the Community Center and park. Parking and traffic problems would be even more of a nightmare during winter as snow piles up and as the streets become narrower. The City should not grant variances for greedy developers who are not considerate of the community.

The lack of parking spaces is of a concern to me and the fact that this project is too large and does not fit in with the feel or scale of the neighborhood. The 2040 plan is going to destroy our historic neighborhoods and this is something that once it is gone, we will never be able to get back.

Affordable housing keeps being talked about but none of these projects have affordable housing!
