Stop forest school from using our CAT grades on the reports

I totally agree, it's putting way too much stress on us, plus my recent grades (which weren't as good as what I'd normally expect) have lowered my self esteem

I don't believe that our final grade should be based on one single Cat exam. The system should go back to the way it was before as our homework and other class work was used to help determine our grade. We receive so much homework and as much as we try to manage our time, some have commitments outside of school and others have become very sleep deprived, therefore affecting our tests. One test should not reflect the grade we are worthy of, as we are worth much more.

Tests are absolutely essential, but they're there to see what areas you need to improve in, not as the be all and end all of your ability in that subject. It should be a balanced report in the subject. Students and teachers may be able to understand the fact that they are doing alright and just had a bad test that term, but many parents can't. You don't even get a chance to redeem yourself after a test.
