Dude. First off 1000 signatures is a bit too high, secondly let's be honest, the current CAT system is broken. In order for us to have grades that more truly represent our abilities, an all round assessment based on homework, class work AND a test is necessary immediately. Expel Edi! Expel E... oh wait...Get rid of CAT's!

The CAT system puts unneeded stress on students and one exam can't show the full potential of the student. What if one student who constantly never does classwork and homework yet gets an A* because he cheats? How does this represent what the student is capable of, whilst students who should get A*s seemingly get Bs and Cs because of the difficulty of the test or because their teacher hasn't taught them it

Completely support this. It's so stressful the amount of pressure they put onto CATs and they don't take into account any of your other work

Our grade should be based on our class work because anyone can not listen in class and then revise for the test and do really well but this does not reflect the individual's ability to work.
