This petition seeks to guarantee parking spaces for a couple of staff members at the expense of a benefit that the residents of the entire Road. We have been campaigning for for this for four years since the preschool last "fought" this.
The impact to the residents has been grossly and purposely understated and before signing this petition, consider how you would feel if you lived on this road and regularly had to park on Christchurch Road or get up at 8am to move your car, or not have your bins taken or be unable to have a removal van find a space or have works on yiur propertyregularly cancelled due to a lack of parking.
A recent survey of residents has shown significant support for this proposal.
The loss of parking does not have to impact whether Pea Pods stays open as a setting. Consider how many of you work in the city and have parking outside your office. If you didn't, would this cause you to quit or find another means of transport.

Please don't put the excellent Peapods Preschool at risk with these unnecessary car parking changes.

Peapod preschool are an essential part of our community and their staff are incredible. Please do not under estimate the impact permit parking will have on staffing and the knock on impact on our local children.
