The law needs to be changed now cats have lives and owners and need to be pretected as much as dogs .

Lost 2 of my cats to hit and runs. It is very painful to wait and wait for your loved cat to come home, never knowing if they are dead or alive.

the person who hit and killed my cat rosie in 2012 didnt stop and try to find me they left her on the roadits heartbreaking

I have lost a few cats this way.I. looked everywhere for Jasper a few years ago and the local vet said a cat of this description was found on the side of the road and taken to the local PDSA.Although he had a microchip they couldn't locate it.

Sadly my Cat was Ran over in our Street he was only just over 1yrs old last year I now have 2 Kitten's to which won't be going outside as I can't have this Happen again.

Why is there one law for dog's and other animals and cats are discreminated against! We have them microchipped so that owners can be found.

Cats are as much loved as dogs, so we should now have a law making it illegal for drivers not to stop if they hit a cat.

I had a cat run over and left to suffer
Traumatic for him and us
I have 3 cats and am struggling to let them out because of this

Please enforce this as a cat is just as much a loving pet as a dog. These are still our family pet. It's not justice to just hit our pets and drive off thinking it's ok. It's only a cat...This cat is someone's very much cat. Please slow dwn and stop when you hit at cat and take it to the nearest vet. Pls stop this it's murder.
