Such sad stories. Please god it never happen to my two girlies. My thoughts are with all that have lost their cats in this way. What is the difference between a dog and cat?

My cat bilko got hit by a car twice within months last time he dragged him self home bottom jaw hanging off and damage to his back ,nice £700 vet bill to repair him.

I lost my cat Thomas in may this year by a "hit and run driver" fortunately a beautiful lady saw it happen and took him to the vets, sadly he was so badly injured he had to be euthanased, I believe drivers who run over a cat have a duty to stop and show some compassion, after all its a person's loving pet, thank you xx

my mums car Thomas was run over 2 months ago the driver left him and a lady that witnessed took him to the vets in a taxi and comforted him all the way ❤️ so sad as we only found out two days after he was missing xxx

Cowards don't stop to help a helpless animal. If you hit an animal and you don't stop to help them you should be locked up. Simple.

Too many reports of cats being hit by cars and left. The drivers should at least tend to the cat afterwards.

My mum's cat marlie was killed today someone run her over and drove off this shouldn't be allowed marlie was in our family for 21years never been so heart broken..people who hit a cat should report it and not drive away leaving th in pain and bleeding

I lost my darling 21 year old cat Marli today by a hit and run down a very quiet road and they just drove away!! Disgusting!! Rip Marli! We need to put a stop to people just driving away!!

I had this happen 2 years ago to my cat. He too had broken his pelvis. Luckily he made it to someone's garden and she took him to the vets who checked for a microchip and called me. He died a year later.
All animals should b treated the same
