A cat has feelings as well, feels love joy and pain.
Cats should not be treated as if you just run over a bit of rubbish. This goes for any of Gods creatures.

Cats should be treated same as dogs they are still a loved animal and someones pet there is no difference between them i have both

Cats need to be protected by laws too! Anyone that runs over a cat and just leaves them there to die has no soul and I feel it's just evil.

My cat got knocked down by a hit & run, he knew he had knocked him down! Luckily I rushed him to the vets and he had to have his leg amputed which cost a fortune in vet fees but atleast he survived! It should be illegal to not stop!!!

About time cats had the same protection as dogs. Owners chip their cats so the know they'll come back.

No one is asked to swerve and cause an accident, just stop and see if the cat can be saved, or if not, returned to owners.
