On whose land were these trees situated? Who made this decision to take them out and why? Who took down the trees and how were they formally contracted to do so? Where did the timber go? What steps are being taken to replace the trees? Which trees in the parish are protected Tree Preservation Orders?

This was an appalling piece of vandalism which we have unwittingly paid for via the PPC The only reason seems to have been to smooth out the path to tarmac it - also a completely unnecessary expense. Who is benefitting from this?

The trees whilst claimed to be seriously affected by ash dieback, seem to be still healthy. Too many trees are being removed from that area overnight. Here 1 day gone the next. Who is making the decisions and does that include HCC?
