As a resident of Nelson, BC, I remember all of the amazing work that you have done for our communities. Although your title has changed, please remember how much the community members of the West Kootenays believe in you and your power to ensure the safety and sustainability of all development in this area.
Thank you for all that you do, we understand that you experience pressure and persuasion from all sides.
Kind regards,

Please do not allow any further industrial activity in this watershed - at all. The exploration might be low impact, but if they find something, then the impact could be substantial. Why look, if you don't hope to dig? No mining ever in watersheds!

Invest ones time, energy and money is sustainable way of living. Such as renewable energy, such as recycling and finding constructive way to deal with that plastic. Employs ones time, energy, money in ways to build a better living, to make the earth and the populatiin healthier.
Dont use the ressources to "explore" and destroy the environment. Please. Kootenay NEEDS the protection not the exploitation.

I say NO! to exploring on 49 Creek. As a resident of 49 Creek I am strongly against any violation of the land whatsoever, especially for commercial purposes. Please people...Don't gamble with my life and that of my neighbours! We need to be able to use that water to live.

Although a historic placer gold producer, 49 Creek needs a lot of consideration, study, and public consultation before being developed.
