This mining is not necessary when it puts the community, wildlife and lad at risk. The benefits do not outweigh the risks to all.

the wellbeing of the people/animals that live on and steward the land will not be disrupted/ harmed/ put at risk for the profit of a corporation. This pattern is getting old!

Canada has a proven track record of disregard of communities and nature when allowing private companies to extract resources. Until laws and significant fees are put in and upheld with integrity I stand against private mining of any kind, including any exploratory mining by anyone for the purpose of enabling private companies.

I live in an area affected by gold mining and I know it doesn’t belong in watersheds such as this one.

Many families and community members depend on the water from this creek. Please do not contaminate it.

our access to this unpolluted watershed for drinking is one of the primary reasons I live where I do. I will not let it be tainted.

This area should not experience further industrial activity with clean water access already in jeopardy.

I live and garden in this watershed. I get gravity feed water for myself and my animals. I do not give consent for exploratory gold mining here. This is not acceptable ecological practice.
