This comunity has a hard enough time trying to get on Kings highway now with the heavy amount of traffic and then Kings high is alot of times is backed up from the lite at the intersection where walmart is which is around 2 miles all the way to our Peace River Rd.
Please think heavy on this befor throwing all care to the wind.

It would be nice if the powers that be actually LISTENED to the people instead of just lining their pockets and selling us out to developers. How about doing things to help us remain a RURAL community instead of a concrete jungle?
I know all you people on these boards are seeing only $$$ signs and what's in it for YOU. But you geniuses do realize that you will NEVER recoup the amount of money you will need to put out for infrastructure for this monstrosity.....and that goes for ALL the proposed developments that the people don't want.

Between the bad traffic the wildlife and stormwater run off I don't know how this is going to be good for any of the people who have been affected by flooding and the traffic and seeing how many endangered animals are being treated and pushed out of their own areas. I don't think enough studies have been done to control all of these issues!

I live on SW Welch Ave. We already have concerns about the traffic on King’s Highway and allowing this expansion will exacerbate the issue. Moreover, we would like to keep our quiet and secluded neighborhood just that, quiet and secluded.

The roads cannot sustain another 1300 vehicles - there are pot holes all over 769 now during the off season. Imagine what would happen with this influx of traffic.

This area sits nearly entirely within a flood hazard area. Development in this area will put additional strain on storm water as well as our transportation infrastructure, which is already beyond capacity.
