UPISA (UP online system) must fall, I can hardly afford to buy enough printing credits at Minolca** but I'm now forced to spend at least R75 for 5 hours per day at an Internet café because my phone is not smart enough and I've got no laptop. Aiy suka manh..UP management is full of rubbish nxa!!!

The excessive levels of discrimination and racism at UP demand an investigation. The management has only been preoccupied with satisfying the needs and demands of its many white Afrikaans students.

Genuinely cannot access the resources for reading and preparing for tests as well as exams...virtual consultations do not seem to work got me...we do ask for another alternative,please...

in order for us to succesfully understands the content we need lectures, some of us are good listeners n we have to work hard when the guidence is not there. so without the library things get even more difficult. I believe this will have an impact on our marks and jeoperdise our chances of progressing to honours. This online system favours the rich and causes a division, with implications that we will never reach the equality that is promised in the constitution.

All these comments about e-learning being just for the 'rich and privileged', what dis you expect when you started this ridiculous 'shut down'. There are people with goals and aspirations out there, and they will not let a little stand in the way of success. You should learn from them.

This is system is discriminatory in nature, it favors the haves and denies the 'have nots' access to education. If the University provided data and laptops to those who don't have, that would make sense and be very helpful. It would show their commitment to equal opportunities in education

I stand in solidarity with the marginalised poor and call on the university to take definitive action by engaging with students on the role the institution should play in the call for Free Education, and in so doing, open the path to the successful completion of this academic year.
