Stop Dumping On Rockaway

Enough, we need to clean up and take care of the homes, section-8, boys homes we already have!

This is not fair and sustainable urban planning.

Rockaway needs more infrastructure and places of enrichment for our youth. Overloading it with more people whom need support services is not the way to help anyone. Find a better solution and stop dumping another problem here.

This is bs and everyone knows it

Please do not allow the abuse of Rockaway community further by opening a homeless shelter one block from a school. It’s unfair to the neighborhood and the homeless people with no jobs, limited public transportation if any. Please. There are too many rehabs, nursing homes in this tiny peninsula already.

Homeless shelter near schools is irresponsible and dangerous.

Rockaway needs to stop being known for negative reasons. We need to bring rockaway more positive things not this!

I am against a homeless shelter on B.101 a block from a school. Please stop the work order.

We have enough homeless and crazy ppl uptown, that’s too close to my child’s school and who knows what types of men are going to be there.

Please let Rockaway Park continue its rebirth since Sandy. This will only set us back. Please also remember WE VOTE.

Please we do not need another shelter here in Rockaway!!

Shelter would be too close to schools. We are still rebuilding here. How about helping us instead of hurting us?

It's sad after all Rockaway has endured, with Sandy, and having to build back its community courageously. The city decides, with zero communication to its residents to put in this shelter. Where businesses and new houses have recenetly flourished this is how we are paid back.

I want to see rockaway keep moving forward, not take two steps back !

Rockaway is revitalizing. We do not want a homeless shelter.
