We do not need this near our schools and children walking by on a daily basis.This is absolutley the wrong place to put this no jobs, no medical, no hospitals nearby its a residential area.We are still rebounding from the losses due to Superstorm Sandy.

The communities of the Rockaway Peninsula, due to a concentration of nursing homes, was already recognized as being an "Impacted" area, more than 30 years sgo. Within New York City, a third of those homes were within Queens, and half of them were on the peninsula. Welfare families need housing? Send them to an area with a poor infrastructure: the Rockaways! No one there will complain.
Guess what? We have voices, and like what was said in the movie, WE'RE MAD AS HELL, AND WE'RE NOT GONNA TAKE IT ANYMORE!

Rockaway is still recovering from sandy. This will not help. Also near several schools in the area which is dangerous for children. We already have enough homeless in the streets harassing people for money. We don’t even have a hospital. This is disgraceful. Please stop using Rockaway as the city’s dumping ground!
