It’s madness to stop Cruise ships coming in to Dublin when we need all the tourists we can get. Sent the container ships to cork or else where.

These cruise ships have become an important source of income for the Capital, and provides jobs for many people. Why destroy this valuable source of revenue and jobs, it just doesnt make any sense.

It is essential to keep the cruise ships coming and going from Dublin Port. So many people now depend on this business for their livlhood.

This decision by Dublin Port will be the death knell to a very important aspect our our tourist industry and not just for Dublin. Surely some consultation should be involved here and, at least, a compromise arrived at that could ensure both the business the liners bring and the sustainability of the port operation. With so much at stake for tourism, Dublin Port should not take an arbitrary decision.

This would be a calamity for the entire region and the impact will be immediate. There should be further consultation on how best to balance cruise and cargo.

I wish to object to Dublin Port's decision to limit the amount of Cruse ships, this will have a very negative effect on tourism throughout the country.

Why would the minister for tourism stop so many tourists coming to Dublin for such a short stay and leaving a considerable amount of money in this economy? Its beggars belief and must not be allowed to happen.

Cruise Ships bring revenue and jobs to Dublin and beyond. At a time when we fear the worst from Brexit we need to support our tourism industry.
