Stop Dublin Port from turning away cruise ships from 2021 and turning away international cruise companies who want to call Dublin a home port.

The country needs all the tourists we can get -we do tourism very well and the are a great asset to the economy

As a Dubliner I strenuously object to Dublin Port turning away thousands of visiting tourists using the cruise ships . Total madness.....

This is a very bad decision for tourism and the hospitality sector etc in Dublin and surrounding counties . It should be reversed asap

What is this Man thinking We have a beautiful Country people want to come and see and enjoy it we want to show it to them ? ?? ??

One of only two Irish native main industries is tourism. Many jobs depend on it and so does the state regarding taxes, wages etc. Please do not try to kill of this important sector by introducing these senseless restrictions!

For the Irish cruise industry

We have all long worked to promote welcoming visitors to our Irish shores and we have a beautiful special country of people that love our tourists. Just when we finally get organised and provide world class hospitality for our cruise tourists, Dublin port authority pop out of nowhere like a fox on a hen house and has left the tourist industry feeling threathened. Its a disgrace in my opinion, maybe its time for some people at Dublin port management to step down from their jobs. We are living in 2019 not 1847!

Dublin's popularity as a tourist destination is also reflected in the cruise industry. Turning away international cruise companies will have long term impact on the local economy, and can be expected to cause more harm than good.

A very bad decision to deny cruise ships. This is a very clean industry & great for the Irish economy.

This will cause serious damage to our growing tourism industry if this is allowed to happen

This is a short sighted decision that will affect ports across the country going against trends across the world! It must be reversed!

Cruise ships are the lifeblood of Irish travel and tourism . 1: Cruise ship operators are world class marketers of Ireland --marketing will stop. 2.Cruise ship passengers are 'first time 'visitors who create a vast 'knock -on effect' via word -of -mouth and social media recommendations for 100000s to visit Ireland. 3. It is beyond belief that the PORTSMEN consider such a totally destructive policy which directly undermines the TOURISM INDUSTRY of Ireland which contributes 7% to 9% to the GDP and Employment.

If this decision goes through it will lead to a huge loss to the Irish tourism industry that could take decade's to recover from .if they don't sick in Dublin it is highly unlikly that they will dock in any other Irish port.
