Stop Dublin Port from turning away cruise ships from 2021 and turning away international cruise companies who want to call Dublin a home port.

I'm signing on behalf of the Port of Killybegs which has increased cruise business and offered a life line to tourism in Donegal. Cannot allow this to happen in Killybegs and Donegal generally

As a National tour guide i can not understand the reasoning to turn away cruise ships from Dublin Port. If we do this we will never get the cruise ships back again and they are a huge asset to the Irish economy.

Helen this is not the case. Because Dublin is the marquee port and draw to the whole region there are many cruise lines who will simply pull out as they see neither Cobh or Belfast a satisfactory alternative to the capital city. This has implications for the whole island.

Just because Dublin is thinking of reducing Cruise liners doesn't mean the rest of the Country suffers. Cobh is and will be well able to cope with them . They are needed for our Tourist trade and Business everyone gains from these Cruise liners. Also it promotes our beautiful Country.

Tourism is a vital integral part of our society. This is an on growing industry which benefits all. Look at the upsurge in tourism with the Wild Atlantic Way, the Greenway, the Ministers who for St. PATRICK'S DAY, travelled abroad to promote this industry. On RTE1 recently watching the programme regarding Cobh and the plans for the Ringaskiddy Berth, I was so proud to be a part of thus Industry. Please keep it alive.
