Stop Dublin Port from turning away cruise ships from 2021 and turning away international cruise companies who want to call Dublin a home port.

Please all members of government act to stop the demise of cruise tourism

Tourism is a major revenue driver in Ireland. It is an all Ireland brand that needs access to markets. Dublin Port wake up. Dublin Port Siptu workers wake up. Tell management to stop making crazy plans to feather their own nests.

Dublin is a fantastic port and the Port Authority should welcome all the cruise business it can get. The Port Authority need to re think their plans.

Dublin Port PLEASE PLEASE Revert this outrageous decision to wind down Cruise Liner visits to Dublin going forward. What on earth are you, the Dublin Port officals, thinking? MAJOR DISASTER FOR 2021 pending.. .... Can you live with this unintelligible decision? You know precisely that this is ludicrous and detrimental to Irish Tourism Shameful.

I support the continuation of full Cruise Ship Services at Dublin Port.

Dublin Port's decision to run down the flourishing cruise industry is misguided and shortsighted and must be reversed.

It seems shortsighted to turn away such a large established revenue stream when the Govt coffers will be hit by huge Brexit generated bills. And this is in addition to those directly affected by the loss of revenue for example qualified tourist guides like myself. Surely there’s a compromise achievable when all the stakeholders come together.

Think of the bigger picture please!

cruise industry has become core to local businesses and the turn around the only option for local without having to go to GB to start a cruise.

Seemingly ill-judged, maybe even a couldn't care less plan by Dublin Port which will at this stage unquantifiable but definitely inevitable adverse consequences for various sectors of the extremely hard working tourism related sector including inevitable loss of both permanent and seasonal employment, not just in Dublin but affecting all the regions of Ireland. Must not be allowed to happen.

Hundreds of jobs in tourism, retail outlets, visitor attractions, cafes and restaurants in jeopardy if Dublin Port goes ahead with Draconian cuts to numbers of cruise ships being allowed to berth from 2021. Huge negative impact on our international profile as the Island of the Welcomes. As a country with an open, potentially fragile economy, we need to promote our facilities for tourists, not look a gift horse in the mouth (as in prestigious international Cruise companies) wishing to promote us and bring thousands of tourist numbers to our shores. Dublin Port please reconsider your decision as a matter of urgency.

I hope that Dublin Port can over the next two years extend its facilities to keep tourism and trade equally important as they are both essential to Irish life, economy and culture.

I believe this would have a huge negative effect on the whole tourism industry of Ireland! Also the Capital of Ireland should welcome Tourists and appreciate the interest in it’s city/country. What happened to the famous „cead mile failte“ ???

I am sure that all of Dublin Port’s employees want to support employment and the continuing growth of the Irish economy. In all sectors nationwide. Yet the decision they have recently announced will do the opposite. Please find another way to support the cruise line business and freight traffic.

This is a retrograde step. Please reconsider these new rules. And the livelihood of those affected by this.
