Stop Dublin Port from turning away cruise ships from 2021 and turning away international cruise companies who want to call Dublin a home port.

If Dublin Port cannot accommodate the cruise ships why not bring all the cruise companies to Dun Laoghaire

Please listen to us. These measures will have a very negative impact on jobs in tourism and jobs in tourist attractions in Dublin.

Nonsensical idea, alongside giving away our fishing rights, our oil rights, as well as the contracts for hospital parking , road tolls etc. Big fat brown envelopes being exchanged with foreign businessmen

Tourism is far too significant a contributor to the Irish economy for decisions like this to be made without consideration as to the consequences. Dublin Port Co has a commercial mandate, which needs to be respected, but it has to be possible to do so without damaging a sector which is one of the pillars of our ongoing economic recovery. The continuation of the Cruise Ship business must be protected and encouraged.

Very bad decision in my opinion. Irish hospitality at its worst.

Disgrace if this happens who ever came up with this idea should be removed from there post

Cruise tourism lifts all boats.... hotels, bars, restaurants, attractions, guides, buses, suppliers.... why would you turn away this business, just as it has been built up?

Surely there is an alternative that meets the needs of both parties.

As a tourist guide I strongly object to this decision as the cruise ships provide lots of jobs in tourism. As it stands it is difficult for many to make a good living in tourism and the cruise ships for many tourist guide is a steady income. Without those a lot of Dublin based tour guides won't be able to make a living.

I sincerely hope this cruel decision will be reversed

I'm a tour guide AND an avid cruiser so it would directly effect me 2x.

Ireland has worked very hard at building her brand over the last decade. Please do not hamper all the good work not to mention risking all the consequential job losses with this bad idea. Please find a solution that does not damage our cruise liner business

Please allow the cruise liners to come to Dublin Port. It helps the economy, it improves tourism and it allows so many to step onto the land of their ancestors.

Outraged by this decision. This is our work! We love our job. Let us work!

Living in NI I see this as an indirect attempt to undermine the Good Friday Agreement

Please allow this very valuable revenue for so many to continue and grow, not regress.

Please for all our sake let compromise and common sense prevail
