This petition is meant to stop driving lessons immediately for the sake of our health and our loved ones. As stated by the health supretendent we should avoid having close contact with people other than family members, and also this petition is to be entitled to receive financial aid from the government of Malta.

I find it nonsense that the examiner is found to be in danger of contracting the covid 19 whilst the instructors having to spend all day teaching is not in danger. It’s either everyone or no one. Learning to drive is not a necessity at the moment so why risking

I'm in Montreal, Canada but most of my relatives are in Malta. Driving lessons are clearly non-essential at this moment in time, and social distancing cannot be practiced. Do the right thing and allow people to be safe where they can.

It can’t be safe to drive in the same car, even if there are just 2 people, there is no recommended safe distance of 2 meters, the virus can be easily spread and a lot of people will suffer. Instructor might get infected from a student and spread it among other students before the symptoms appear.

Very unfair decision. Its totally ridiculous and irresponsible to promise to these self-employed the announced financial assistance and then contradict the same commitment few days after without any valid reasons. Its immoral to leave them stranded in this crisis

Putting safety and health at risk Not that any student will come to lessons as all tests are suspended. But if we are not officially banned from lessons does this affect any financial help from government ? that should save them some money but will put us all in a financial bind

We as driving instructors are at risk if we keep doing our work. The constant advice from the health supretendent Profs Charmaine Gauci is to keep our distance and not to make contact with people other from our household and not to leave home, why this does not apply to us instructors??

As much as it is hard waiting for something so convenient as a car! It is also very important that at this moment we be extra cautious at our safty. Lets be patient now and enjoy later!
