The legislature officially repealed the licensing restrictions for reform felons today. We successfully pressured the board to remove these barriers to employment. I will continue monitoring the implementation process to ensure these new guidelines are followed correctly.

The scale of this response confirms that our policy proposal has moved beyond a niche concern. I am currently coordinating with legal counsel to organize a formal presentation for the relevant legislative committee.

If u do the time u should get another shot. Period.
my brother is trying so hard to get his life back on track but nobody will hire him. its not fair.
hard to go straight when the system keeps the door closed in your face. change this.
its been 5 years since i got out and i still cant find decent work. just let us work.
people make mistakes. they shouldnt have to pay for the rest of their lives for it.
i agree.we need a chance at everything though.

THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO STOP THE REVOLVING DOOR OF PRISON. GIVE THEM A REAL CHANCE.
