This is an act of discrimination. Iranian physicians are well-trained and capable. As a current Harvard PhD student and former Tehran University medical student, I assure you that many TUMS graduates would comfortably fit in Harvard PhD programs. Please reconsider your evaluation process, and don't let bureaucratic obstacles deprive them of better educational opportunities. They are at no fault with regards to the politics that caused this.

They pass the most difficult entrance exam to get to the med school and they study 7 years to be a primary care...

Though I've signed this petition, I just read the update posted on ECFMG website as of June 3, 2015 that they are looking into rectifying this decision.
