I can't believe this is happening. Iran is the place of bith of Abu-Ali Sina, the father of modern medicine. We have many successful influential physicians graduated from Iran practicing in USA at the present and have been many key elements of today medicine in USA. These include but not limited to Dr. Jamshidi, Ziai, Khodadost, and many others. Are you really trying to be this obviously discriminating and prejudges?

This is yet another sanction against Iran, but sadly only against its students, who deserve it the least. Instead of ECFMG using this as an opportunity to help foster and mold (a more US-friendly) future for Iran, it is further straining relations.

Dear ECFMG registrar,
Asking the reputable Iranian medical schools for sharing information and verifying documents by no mean translates into trade or financial relationship with Iran. It will be flow of information in one direction and as the result United States benefits from it unilaterally.
I would like to respectfully request ECFMG to reevaluate this issue and reverese its decision.

Its the Iranian government, not the Farsi people, who the US needs to sanction. I'm a Jew who has been to Israel, and know the people all want peace, its the government causing the trouble.
