Stop Development of Large Senior Living Facility Across from Beechwood Farms

Rules are rules and this is not the correct zoning area for this development.

This large facility would be close to the Fairview school overwhelming the the corner of Harts Run and Dorseyville roads during dismissal and early morning drop off. This is already a traffic nightmare with gridlock. Placing a commercial business in one of the few dense residential neighborhoods of Indiana twp when several wide open areas (farms, etc) exist and are available is nothing short of stupidity.

PLEASE NOTE: The hearing on Jan. 23rd has additional agenda items that haven’t YET been posted. If you’ve never attended a hearing please attend and be informed! They may add this agenda item at the last minute. The project requires MASSIVE infrastructure and it is much bigger than anyone in this area would expect. It’s a large scale COMMERCIAL enterprise. The Waters facility in Wexford is on Rt 19; a 4-6 lane highway with multiple access roads into the facility There is nothing about it that would blend in or add to OUR community. IT WILL CHANGE THIS AREA FOREVER. PLEASE ATTEND THIS WEDNESDAY!

1. Nonconformity with zoning 2. Proposal will potentially destroy road with construction vehicles, infrastructure patching, 200-300 traffic increase on small rural road 3. Negative impact on bird, animal wildlife and plant environment. 4. Noise light and structural obstruction pollution and impact on neighborhoods and adjacent nature preserve and hiking trail systems.

Against development in quiet neighborhood on a winding 2 lane rural road along cliffs and parks. Look at Hart’s Run and Saxonburg Rd.

I live off Dorseyville Road and am concerned about extra traffic on this 2 lane road.

Do not proceed with this development. I will be very dissappointed and will consider moving out of the township if the current zoning requirements are not honored. In the meantime, I will vote for those who do not support such development whenever possible.

Hi Everyone - According to the Indiana Township Website, this issue (Development of Large Senior Living Facility Across from Beechwood Farms) is not on the Agenda for the Planning Commission on 23 January 2019. Please go to the Indiana Township website: https://indianatownship.com to track when the Minnesota company plans to seek approval from the Planning Commission - am guessing in the next month or so. Planning Commission meetings are the Fourth Wednesday of each month at 6:00 P.M.

More growth is not attractive or wanted in this area. We want to preserve the local environment and not destroy the beauty of the area.

I think we need a new planning commission. They are not doing the job we expect of them. If I wanted this kind of development and lack of concern about the environment I would have stayed in the city. We have lived here for 30 years but if the township keeps "following the money" I will be following my daughter and her family and move out of the township.

I moved out to Indiana Twp. on Dorseyville Rd. to get away from the "city life". I like living rural and do not want this proposed building built. It's bad enough that they are building town homes just up the road but now a senior living facility as well? Stop building! Keep our beautiful township beautiful!

Disgusting- This is Indiana Township's most recent give-away to a developer. Just like the deal they struck with Ryan Homes to jam 91 new townhouses at the corner of Fox Chapel and Dorseyville, this development violates many of the requirements Indiana Township already has on the books to stop things just like this. And now the Township is rescinding those requirements to allow this development to proceed. Follow the money...

Don't want this congestion in my neighborhood. Indiana township plz be more responsible for the good of the whole. Community. It's not always about the money.

I live in Hampton, but I travel by that area frequently. I’m very concerned about the loss of wilderness areas.

This is a terrible idea and an environmental nightmare.
