The development plan appear to violate the zoning ordinance and should be rejected.

The proposal needs accuracy and consistency with the neighborhood. Currently it has neither.

Any proposed development that is not transparent in truthfully showing or hiding the design of the building, or which is inconsistent with the surrounding look of the area raises red flags for me and many others in our little community. Plans to take away public access to shoreline that is highly used by the locals is a great loss to a community that greatly prizes available beaches that foster family enjoyment of the island’s shorelines.

An inappropriate building, to small a lot, work beginning without permit, how can this be? Protecting the remaining shoreline along Ali’i Drive and stop this project.

It is time that makai of Alii Dr be downzoned to be consistent and compatible with existing development and a serious effort should be made by the County to purchase vacant parcels such as this which have been historically used by the public as an ocean entry and made into pocket parks for the benefit of all.

A’ole! These developers always think we are dumb and try to just do all this illegal crap (like working in the SMA without authorization!) There sea level change and no real emergency plan for Tsunami evacuation as it is. Don’t sell us out once again
