Ben Emery Honoka'a, Hawaii 96727 I oppose and will oppose any future developments of this type anywhere on the Big Island. Ali'i Drive makai development is continuing a failed economic model while creating a situation where those of us who live in the state of Hawai'i cannot afford to live. More tourism isn't the answer. Creating a chemical free agriculture and Hawai'ian economy is the answer. Destroying our coastline to show tourists a good time for a couple weeks isn't a culture we should be embracing. Dependence on barges for our supply chain to fill our landfills, pollute our waters, kill our coastlines, and to gentrify our state is the absolute wrong direction. I use the the leeward coastline from Puako down to Captain Cook for surfing, fishing, and snorkeling. Competing with tourists to enjoy our beach parks and coastline while overpaying for common goods is wrong, immoral, and is the antithesis of what it is to be Hawai'ian. Aloha, Ben Emery https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrbaN42tDFE

No more Developments. Hawai'i needs open shore lines, not more tourist condos. Honor the earth. Aloha Aina Malama Pono .

As someone who works part-time at Ali‘i Gardens, turning L to go home is already a hassle due to all the traffic on Ali‘i Drive. PLEASE do not allow this to be built.

this building is an atrocity! There are NO 5 story buildings in the surrounding area and this is NOT what we want Kona to look like. Keep this building on Oahu, where the owner lives!

This complex is to big and tall for the property. It will limit public access to the shoreline by eliminating street parking. It is not what the community needs.

This industrial eyesore does not belong in Kona!! It will take away too many parking spaces on Ali’i that is needed to enjoy this shoreline access. This beach access is one of the little surfing and snorkeling gems left along Ali’i from all of the development in Kona. Please stop this monstrosity from moving forward. Go back to the drawing board and redesign with respect and aloha.

Our quintessential Kailua-Kona beach community surrounding the proposed development will forever be impacted by the "Jetson House." I am reminded of those tests we took as children where there is a set of pictures and you are asked to identify the item that does not fit.

The proposed structure is too large and takes away from the feel of the community. Parking is already an issue here and will be even worse with the removal of the existing street parking. The builder needs to rethink the size and practicality of what they want to build here.

This is a commercial building being built in the heart of our neighborhood. It needs to be redesigned to fit in to the community!

This needs to be addressed IMMEDIATELY!!! There are so many inconsistencies in this application that it should be denied! This is not a viable structure for this misrepresented tiny lot! This will negatively impact the community and neighborhoods around it! This needs to go back to the drawing board. IMMEDIATELY.

Absolutely NOT There is not enough infrastructure to support more growth, and also importantly is the quality of life we are losing here in Kona

Enough condos on Ali`i Drive! Leave some beaches, open spaces and wahi pana (sacred places) for locals to enjoy.
