Stop Depressing ASPCA Commercials

I hate these retarded chromosome stealing commercials

I'm adopted three dogs from the ASPCA, I make donations regularly and volunteer on any other events that I can. All I want is for the insanely over depressing commercials to end! they make me want to curl up into a ball and die on the couch

I am a mother of 4 barely making it week to week an when these commercials come on my youngest son cries everytime and begs me to help the animals.this breaks my heart as i would love to but we are barely making it ourselves.everytime we go threw this is a heart wrenching experience for myself and my kids

I work all day to save abused animals. Come home to watch TV. And my heart is broken all over again.

I'm an animal lover and am aware that abuse & neglect take place. I don't want to see it.

So glad I came across this petition I can sign. Don't get me wrong, I am an animal lover, but these commercials obviously don't seem to be helping, there's hardly ever any new ones or updates about actual animals people are helping, and they're more depressing than they are helpful. Why not show us what the donated money goes towards? Instead of spending so much dang money on airtime, spend it on new commercials with stories on what the money actual goes towards, which animals have been helped, which shelters have gotten help from donations, up to date on adoptions and animals whom have gotten forever homes? Why not that kind of stuff?

Yes, there are people who need help.. however, overpopulated countries can do something about it and don't... people have the opportunity to do something about it.. animals are helpless.. they try to trust us to help them... they can't control what happens to them.. it's up to us... I just think that commercial is horrible and heat-treating and if you don't already care about animals it's not going to make any difference... if you do already care, it's devastating to see...

Please, I love animals and I bawl like a baby every time it comes on because I cannot adopt all of them or donate every month

Stop these sickening commercials, please!

Those commercials are torture to me. I have 2 cats I rescued and others who are no longer with me. I'm poor. I live in a run down trailer. I wish I could rescue every hurting animal and make their monster owners suffer an even worse fate. The commercials tear my heart out. I have to change the channel. I am 67 yrs old but I would love to personally rescue those poor abused babies and love them back to happiness. I can't do anything financially. You don't know what a torture it is for me to see those commercials. My life is hard. It has always been hard. Please stop making it even worse.

Absolutely ridiculous! More frequent than any other commercials on my favorite networks! Spend all these advertising dollars saving those animals.. There are also children, elders & disabled persons being abused & needing help. No other organizatio/cause finds it necessary to flood the airwaves with horrific images, stories & songs! Sarah McLaughlin can't even watch her own commercials, she quoted. My pregnant sister falls to pieces every time this garbage is on. Maddening. I see enough awfulness in a day.. These commercials are the VERY reason that I, and every one I know, refuses to contribute or do anything related to your organization. When there are petitions, websites, blogs, etc specifically about how intrusive & offensive & wasteful your commercials are.. Pay attention!

I honestly have an extraordinary struggle with PTSD after putting my dog down(shortly after losing both parents). And I'll be honest with you this ASPCA commercial makes me want to kill myself.

Stop showing freezing abused animals and playing "In the bleak winter", it makes me want to avoid aspca not help!
