This is guerrilla tactics gouging your money to pay for more commercials just like this. you can show a picture of a man who has hung himself dangling there and say we need to stop this send money please for suicide prevention! SAME EXACT THING.

It would be nice to see a positive reason to donate. Please show pets that have been adopted into a healthy, happy, loving and safe environment instead of the broken, depressed, traumatized and abused animals that are unbearable to watch.

These Tortuous Negative ads MUST STOP! ASPCA is NOT promoting the rights & positives of Animals, they're exploiting these poor animals, literally driving away animal lovers & their donations! Positive achieves Positive$$! Negative can only achieve more negative!!

Showing these aspca commercials during the day time and holidays should be banned. It made my son cry when he saw the puppies.

Please stop these horrible commercials! We all have enough stress in our lives without watching these poor animals suffering! I am on disability and can barely survive, but I have adopted a special needs dog that is a puppy mill survivor. That is what we should all try and do if we can. Don't and do not shop for a puppy at a pet shop! Or donate to your local rescue and/or shelter. That way every cent is spent on the care of the animals.

growing up as an extreme animal lover. I've spent many years going to shelters and helping animals find good homes by being a foster mother. I currently don't make enough to help support local animal shelters but I try to do my part in trying to help keep the local shelter population down. But I think it's so awful having to watch these commercials and see the port looks on those poor animals faces. ASPCA has done so much to help animals but I feel like they can use a more positive commercials to help with their organizations instead of these heart-wrenching stories. I don't want to feel worse than I already do with abused animals so I want these horrible commercials the end.

I have 8 special needs rescues that are my children. I now avoid watching lifetime and lmm for fear of having to look at these faces again. I've been a volu teer for 12 years now and don't care to see it on tv. I walked into the Dr's office today and started to walk out the front door to avoid seeing another commercial with silent night. What a fool I felt like in the reception room of the drs office. Hopefully the other patients and the little girl with them didn't think to badly of me. My heart to all the animals this holiday season, and I will right there with as much food and toys I am able to give. Please give to your local shelter, and volunteer to walk or sit with our older pets, they need our help too.

I'm so glad I found this petition. For me, the final straw came today in the form of an ASPCA commercial that includes, "Silent Night." I don't believe that a song about the JOYOUS birth of the Savior should have anything to do with a depressing commercial. Can't the ASPCA, for once, create and air a commercial that is a HAPPY one?

These commercials need to be stopped. There is no reason as to why you should be emotionally abused into thinking its MY duty to save these animals. No argument that these animals should receive help, but using their method is just wrong
