The are fricking irratating. Greedy, money hungry bastards. The damn commercials are on multiple channels at the same fricking time. Not to mention my own state has a hard time keeping up with our own dog pound situation. Everyone donating is only paying for more of these commercials. Stop this company.

Yes, stop the madness. These commercials are disgusting to me, especially coming from such a money grubbing organization.

These commercials are torture for me and my family. We love animals and if we had the money we would donate to an animal cause. But if the donations are to be used for these commercials, I will take my donations to another animal cause. Please stop running there commercials

I change the TV channel whenever an ASPCA commercial comes on. Cannot watch. The ASPCA has the worst rep with stealing from donations too.

My family adores pets and have always had a dog. Our current family member is a rescue and we love him very much.
Like many others, we find these commercials deplorable and instantly turn the channel. I really wish the ASPCA would spend the donated money on positive spots that would keep pet lovers tuned in. Let's face it, the people who abuse pets aren't the target audience, so why put pet lovers through these spots unless they are trying to prey on people.

I want to start off with i do love animals. I have cats and dogs i care for. And don't like to see any harm come to any animal. I have taken in strays to give them a home and to be safe. Now thats out of the way. The ASPCA commercials are driving me up the wall. It really is in very bad taste to use animals in pain to gain money from it. The commercials that run 20 to 50 to 75 times aday. With the tear jorking music in the back round. I'm so sick of being bumbarded by these commercials. Is there cap limet on how many times it runs a day ? They have turned my stumach so much from these ad's that i hate them. Would never give them a penny because of the commercials. Can any one please please put a stop to it. Enough is enough of the bumbarment.

Yes these commercials are inappropriate. I do hope everyone does what they can for humans and animals in need. But the shock treatment that has made children cry - is not the way to go about fund raising.

They are currently running on the Fox network This years even more sad than last My kids start crying when they see them come on. I now turn the channel as soon I hear the music. By the way all the contributions go to the northeasst and mainly New York City

I appreciate the aspca efforts. But investigation discovery channel is running 1-2 very long commercial s every 5 minutes. I have four rescued pets and I do donate money and volunteer. But this is too much. The commercials are cruel and very unkind. I have to keep on changing channels every tim I see this because the adds are like 5 minutes long. I get the message , but please it's not fair to traumatize people with these long ads.

These commercials are ineffective because viewers change the channel when these specific commercials come on. No one wants to watch them and no one I know will give money because of a disgusting, depressing commercial.

I understand the cause & it's very important, but with that kind of commercial you only succeed in making people turn to other channels to avoid it.

The dogs are actors who have been made up. There isn't deep matted coat and filth seen in such conditions. The kennels/yards are sets. I'm not sure how they got them to shake and shiver.
Do they carry video cameras to document a rescue?
Probably, yes.
But are they high-quality film cameras?
Just look at the production values. Much too polished for handheld by volunteers.

THEY ARE DELIBERATELY PREYING ON PEOPLE WITH WORDING LIKE "YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN HELP" AND SHOULD BE BANNED FOR PREDATOR TACTICTS.. AND THE FACT THAT THERE ARE MORE AND MORE OF THEM MEANS THEY ARE MAKING LOTS OF MONEY! STOP
