No land in Oklahoma should be used for data centers. It's a disrespectful use of our space in this beautiful state.

The process by which the City of Tulsa is pursuing annexation of property directly adjacent to established residential neighborhoods, followed by the rapid rezoning and approval of data center development without meaningful notice to or input from the surrounding residents, raises serious concerns regarding transparency, fairness, and proper governance. Not to mention the economic impact of the increase in utility cost and the unknown impact of real estate devaluation.
Circumventing community engagement in matters that will significantly impact neighboring property owners undermines the fundamental principles of responsible municipal planning. The appearance that annexation and rezoning are being used as a procedural mechanism to bypass the voices of those most directly affected is both troubling and inconsistent with the standards of ethical public administration.
Decisions of this magnitude should be conducted through a process that is open, transparent, and inclusive of the residents whose homes, property values, and quality of life will be directly impacted. This practice must be carefully reviewed and corrected to ensure that municipal authority is exercised in a manner consistent with both the law and the public trust.

Infrastructure does not support such big plans. Quit placing the buggy before your horses! Electricity outages are terrible currently to only get worse by this!
