STOP dangerous parking outside Newlands Community Primary School

The abuse from drivers and language is awful and the children should not be hearing or seeing this everyday. Also not all children are taken to school by parents and seeing them trying to cross that road is scarey and only a matter of time before one of the children are seriously injured or even killed god forbid.

Very dangerous to try and cross the road

Improvements need to be made, not easy but on-site parking for parents would ease parking on the road issues

My child attends the school and it’s scary how dangerous this road is at school times ... I always tell my son to never crossed between parked cars but most of the time this is impossible for him with the cars parked everywhere u would feel so much better about him crossing if there was a crossing patrol officer ... it is only a matter of time before there will be an injury without one

It is really dangerous and unacceptable, particularly for residents who have had their lives turned upside down by this development and are being ignored

to try and drive past newlands is a nightmare, i have even seen cars driving on the path as they couldnt see the other cars coming to to people parking on a bend.

6 months since the school opened and nothing done!!! Someone is going to get hurt!

Absolute nightmare trying to travel this road at school time !! Having to drive up onto path to avoid oncoming traffic!! Something needs to be done before someone gets hurt !!

I am a resident of belle vue road and the parking at school times is awful ! Also there needs to be something in place as the speed drivers come down the road is dangerous and have no care there are children around. Speed bumps need to be put down the road too slow traffic and also something needs to be put in place for school times to make it safer

Very dangerous, difficult to get down the road at all during school times!

It's very frightening having to drive down Belle Vue Rd when school is about to finish. It is really dangerous, the way parents park with no regards to other motorists.

The old part of the school would be ideal for parent parking it's sitting there doing nothing and looks terrible all boarded up I really don't know why that part wasn't knocked down in the first place and made for parking the split between the main school and the old part should have a opening so the children that get picked up can walk straight through to there pick ups rather than walking along the busy footpath near the busy road surly this would make a world of difference to the safety of the children right now it's a accident waiting to happen !!

It's ridiculous there....I cannot remember it being a problem when it was heathfield school.... Suppose with Heath Lane being closed doesn't help either.

I am a parent that unfortunately cannot walk to school and would definitely benefit from the use of a car park as I struggle to park outside the school and safely get the children out of the car on the roadside. I am always conscious when parking and always make sure I do not park on any yellow lines or In front of any drives but this becoming near on impossible.

Pedestrian crossing needed for the children’s safety it’s an accident waiting to happen. Cars mount the path to get down the road with no consideration for those walking on the path

I live on belle vue road and it's absolute carnage at drop off and pick up times people stopping on double yellows and zigzag lines!

Parking needs to be patrolled as it is very dangerous. It needs sorting before there is a serious accident.
