STOP dangerous parking outside Newlands Community Primary School

someone is going to get hurt, mounting the path due to the parking

Its a joke picking kids up shudnt park outside but do need somewhere to pick them up

This needs urgent attention and action. Please don’t wait until a child is killed!

There is a lot of people who don't need to take their cars. There is only one side of the road for other drivers to use coming from both ways which causes a back log of cars everywhere. Also some drivers are having to drive on the path to get by , someone will be seriously hurt or killed.

This needs to be addressed before a child gets hurt

I drive past the school to get home every day after work. They double park and it's so dangerous as cars are trying to squeeze through and then families are trying to cross. It's horrendous. An accident waiting to happen. What happened to walking to school?!

Someone is seriously gonna get hurt either from crossing the road or traffic mounting the kerb as they often do when people double park!!!! Mayhem!!!!@

I fully support the need for additional safety measures with regards children crossing the road. This needs to be done BEFORE an incident occurs.

Double yellow lines would be the best solution in my eyes.

So many times I've seen cars drive along the pavement opposite the school to continue 2 lanes of traffic where cars are parked on one side. Pavements are NOT for driving or parking on for that matter. You cannot walk safely passed some of the parked cars when you have a puschair and a reception age child holding onto the pushchair at the side, the path is not wide enough when parked cars take up half the space. Parents and children struggle to cross between the parked cars, oncoming cars have no chance of seeing a child inbetween parked cars waiting to cross. And driving along the pavements just to be impatient is ridulously dangerous.

Such a dangerous road at school times, something definitely needs to be done!

What will it take for someone to take action. If a child gets hit, its too late.

Something needs to be done, before a serious accident happens. We need to keep our children safe when trying to cross the road.

Truly awful how dangerous this road has become... also hgv traffic for the housing development down Heath Lane is not helping with the safety of primary school children.

Something definitely needs sorting. There will be a fatality soon, if something isn't done.

I'm s local resident who lives opposite the school it is very dangerous and needs double yellow lines outside the school gates and the full of length of the school boundaries.

This is a serious issue that needs attention. Cars are constantly mounting the curb to pass other traffic and endangering pedestrians

I support all requests to make the road outside school safer for our children this is a accident waiting to happen
