Why is it always okay/proposed to move the less fortunate for a large company? There is no need for CVS since we have three pharmacies right there. If they want to develop in Boise - move further down State (maybe near FarWest). This is an awful proposal.

This is not the right location for the proposed CVS. This area of State Street is already a traffic bottleneck and it will degrade the neighborhood to remove historical houses for a parking lot. Additionally, since much of our homelessness problem stems from lack of affordable housing, developers should have to construct replacements in the general area when they tear down affordable housing.

Boise needs more compassion for those experiencing homelessness or teetering on the edge of it, not more Walgreens or CVS stores.

Save affordable housing for low income families! We don't need three pharmacies/convenience stores in such close proximity.

The building of CVS would create more traffic congestion, displace low-income tenants, add to an area with 3 pharmacies in place. Change the dynamics of older neighborhoods. Add tot the pollution of the area due to vehicles and create and cont. is a chain of State Street drive-thrus down State. We have an unique city that is growing beyond the means of the city. This city cannot keep up with the fast growing population. Plan the city well before selling it to the world. No low income housing --not enough.

We need to build on to our inventory of low cost housing, and not subtract from it!

We need housing more than parking lot with a drugstore. Also, that complex looks pretty good to me.

We don't need another pharmacy within walking distance of two other pharmacies. CVS would be better moving to a more needed area of town.

We need to retain existing affordable housing stock more than a redundant third pharmacy in a two-block stretch of State Street. Please deny this application...it will undermine the stability of Boise's community, local economy and neighborhood if 23 households lose their affordable homes. There are no vacancies even close to compensating for the loss of these units.

Consider an alternative location, perhaps one associated with other commercial enterprises with ample parking ALREADY provided like the mall. Dr. Tom Trotter Boise

This is unnecessary in this neighborhood and will add to the ruin of the character of the area as well as destroy 23 units of much needed affordable housing.

Please reconsider the impact this CVSstore will have on the neighborhood. Tearing down existing low income housing and local businesses without a plan, and putting in a business that is not needed, since a large chain pharmacy is right around the corner makes no sense. Please consider community concerns. Thank you.

I am a home owner in the West Downtown Neighborhood near this proposed building site. I oppose this project and do not wish to have a box store with a drive through and a 48 spot parking lot in that location.
