This proposed CVS store is ridiculous... It is not needed or wanted at this location. Go somewhere else!

Tearing down houses and apartments to build another drugstore within blocks of two existing pharmacies is the epitome of poor urban planning. Please consider the character of this historic neighborhood and decline the proposed CVS.

At the very least we should require a certain aesthetic standard with trees and minimal signage.

There is literally NO reason for this. There is already a Rite Aid right there on 16th and State. Another pharmacy isn't necessary.

Please build your pharmacies out in Meridian or Kuna or any other suburb, where people need them. We have more than we need at that intersection already.

We do not need another pharmacy at that corner. And especially one that looks ugly and has another huge parking lot. Please consider development that fits in with the historic nature of the North End. Strip malls and large box stores DO NOT fit in and take away from the beauty of the area. We need responsible development. This isn't it.

I'm totally against another big box surrounded by parking lots! Why can't we have stores that are sensitive to neighborhoods. This development doesn't enhance the neighborhood ! This would start a price war between Rite Aid and CVS and the bigger chain will win leaving one box store shell - booo!

We don't need, yet another, a big box pharmacy in our area. The North End is one of the jewels of our city and this would seriously start to change it for the worse. This development does NOT enhance the neighborhood, nor does it meet a consumer demand. I have a fear that the glut of pharmacies in the area will just leave an empty retail shell somewhere else in our area.

Somehow my understanding was when we came here to the North End 4 or so years ago, there could be no changing the established neighborhood! And, in fact that any changed to existing structures had to get approval first? Anyway, I agree the proposal of a new pharmacy seems very ridiculous. We vote against it.

I would like to oppose any variance that would allow CVS to destroy housing between State and Jefferson to build yet another drug store (and large parking lot) in a few block area. If we must sacrifice affordable housing in Boise, please make it for something essential to the community.

The reason Boise is one of the most livable cities in the United States is because we have a leadership and residents who understand, vote, and act to preserve what makes Boise special. This petition is an example of that and I am proud to sign it.
