I studied at BOA and now at uni still doing MT, so I'd hate to see budget cuts to BOA and elsewhere.

I have been involved an amateur theatre for 44 years. I have seen so many young people involved who have fantastic talent but find it harder and harder to make a career for themselves due to the great expense trying to go to college to study theur craft, so cutting grants etc for the arts is not conducive to a happy society who will miss out on this untapped talent in years to come.

As an enthusiastic and dedicated member of various dance and drama schools, choirs, and orchestras, the arts play a crucial role in my life. Cuts to the arts are detrimental to my future, and the future of many others around the world. The arts are just as important as sports, or academia in our society. Without entertainment, what is the point in living? I urge you to reconsider your decision to cut arts funding as it will negatively impact so many people around the world.

As a provider of independent vocational theatre training in Exeter, I call on the government to review it's funding strategy for the arts and vocational training to allow all talented students to have access and young actors to have the opportunity to do paid and we'll produced work. Let us nurture this country's performing arts heritage by allowing future talent it's chance to develop.

If the Government stopped cutting funds to the arts I could have taken one of the drama school places I have been offered this year. Instead I have to take a part-time foundation despite already having a level 4 qualification... cuts make the arts elitist.
