The arts are my life.
They are other people's lives too! People depend on this.
You can't just cut it because it is "unimportant" it is; we contribute to society, keeping moral up and contribute to the economy in a very positive way. Cut the arts and you are cutting many people's dreams and lives in half! Cuts have to be done I understand but why the arts? Have you really considered the impacts?
So go ahead ruin people's lives and face that furious mob! I dare you.

I understand that further cuts may need to be made and we have to save money somewhere, and perhaps the arts aren't the top priority, but they are important. If funding continues to decline at the current rate then this country will produce no talent and we will have a dearth of creativity in our society. If we don't have theatre, art or literature, then what are we living for?

I too studied at BOA and now study at drama school! I think it's stupid how the arts aren't valued in the same as say mathematics as the Arts provide a lot for people's everyday lives and culture without funding for the arts how are people going to continue getting the entertainment they all crave! Pathetic!

Stop cutting funds! This academy works wonders with all the pupils that go and so glad I chose to go as part of my education! It's a great place!
