There will be a vote to repeal Common Core in South Carolina on Wed. March 12, 2014. We are asking our leaders today to VOTE TO REPEAL Common Core in South Carolina. This will be sent to EVERY member of our senate. We REFUSE continue to push our children and our future into socialism with our educational system. To expect every child to be on the same level at the same time is insanity. They are individual human beings, not robots and this system is using them as guinea pigs. The truth is Common Core was never even piloted before implementing it to our students and there is absolutely NO EVIDENCE that it works. I am a firm believer in education and working hard and there must be a standard in place with our educational system to help prepare our children for college and the work force. Unfortunately, Common Core is not the answer. Both of my own straight -A children have seen dropping grades since this standard was implemented. Even when their questions are right, they are marked wrong because they don't show the same work process per Common Core's standards. I can't even begin to tell you how much stress and confusion this has caused them. If you believe in something you must DO something!

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.

-Edmund Burke
