If a state cannot sustain itself by living within its means then it will become a slave to a larger entity. This can be applied to life as a simple human as well. Word to the wise my fellow Kansans!

The more actual lessons we see from Common Core the more shocked we are at how damaging it is. Most people are totally unaware. If you follow the money to be made on this you realize what this is about. Check out the many very personal questions in order to be tested. More states are backing away from it. Okla. is smart and are protecting their children by refusing it.

If for example...we move to a different state...my children will fit right in to the standards..(under common core) Ok that's good that theyll fit in and stay on track however, what if we move and my child is above the "common" standards because they are getting traditional learning...they are then forced to be dumbed to stay with the rest of the "common" students? Then what? So then you look the opposite way and think a student under common core moves and then goes to a traditional standard way of learning...I believe they are going to be lost and confused because they will still be way behind and try to catch up to where they should be in the first place. What will this cause? Feeling of stupidity? Goodness, it isn't broke, don't fix it! It seems as though they are training our children to be robots and to depend on the government. I want my children to succeed and never get bored..I want their brain to continue to work and not have to "wait" for other students. We are all different in the most perfect way=God's design! Common=Government's Agenda

Having the children do excessive steps to do one problem is enough...which is not needed! The biggest problem is the Government being involved...they are never the ones to trust (my opinion) and to have them get a hold of my children..I think NOT!

This past school year was one stressful night after another, literally, praying to God, to help me grasp what to do to try helping, my 6th grade son,with his homework! Taking 3-4 hours every night and still missed practically all problems on his math papers, the hole year!

It is essential that Governor Brownback STANDS with Mike Pence, Mary Fallin and Nikki Haley and block any and all attempts to implement "Common Core" (or any re-branded version of the same) into
the Kansas public education system at any grade level!
